“Pack up that celebrity nonsense and hustle” — Tochi tells struggling BBNaija ex-housemates

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tochi, has advised ex-housemates who are struggling after the reality show to put aside their celebrity status and focus on making a living.

Tochi gave the advice in a social media post directed at former housemates who are finding life difficult after leaving the show.

“If you’re a Bbnaija ex-housemate and you’re going through a rough time listen, ‘pack up all that I am a celebrity nonsense and lock it inside a box.. come out and hustle oh, if not you go cry pass new born baby oh,’” he wrote.

He explained that he no longer defines himself by his time on the reality show, saying he now sees himself primarily as a businessman.

“I have even forgotten I went on that show since 2024, I see myself as a businessman now,” Tochi stated.

He also reminded former housemates that appearing on BBNaija does not guarantee success, noting that everyone has a different path in life.

“Destiny differs, not everyone is destined to make it from the show, keep your head up and live your truth,” he added.

Tochi further urged ex-housemates to surround themselves with people who would encourage them and recognise their efforts beyond their status as reality TV stars.

“When people see you let them not see you only as an ex-housemate but also a hustler with values trying to make it,” he wrote.
